Your Questions About the Healthy Gut, Healthy You Protocol
22/10/2019
Thank you for sharing your amazing insights into health. I have a question that I haven't seen addressed anywhere. I'm 64 years old and have been following a Paleo / Keto approach for 4 years and one year ago I started with intermittant fasting and 6 weeks ago with fasting. I have a long-term problem since childhood with constipation. Today I had a colonoscopy and the doctor told me I have small intestine malrotation, which he didn't think is a problem, although I told him about my fatigue, constipation, etc. I couldn't find any alternative therapies or dietary recommendations concerning mid-gut malrotation. (I wouldn't want to have surgery.) If possible, I would greatly appreciate addressing these questions on a podcast: 1. What might be alternative therapy options for mid-gut malrotation with symptoms such as constipation, burping after eating, food sensitivities towards grains (I don't eat them anymore), possible malabsorption (although I eat a very "healthy" Paleo / Keto diet, I have low blood count and inflammation markers (but so far, doctors are unable to determine the source / cause of the inflammation), tummy upset if I eat more than a moderate amount. Fasting helps greatly! As this condition seems to often be missed or misdiagnosed, perhaps there are others out there who would appreciate more info. Thank you in advance.
