Despite it being the year 2023 and us assuming that we are past these kinds of happenings, child marriage is still a global issue. It is caused by poverty, gender inequality and social norms and has devastating effects on the girls it preys on. This episode we will be discussing these causes and effects, with the goal of awareness so that we can hope to one day eradicate it entirely.
