Turi Ryder's "She Said What?" Podcast Shebops Productions

- Sociedad y cultura
Turi Ryder, author of “She Said What? (A Life on the Air)” has hosted her own radio shows in LA, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Portland. She gives advice, which you probably should not take, and tells stories, which you probably should not believe.
Marci Persky spent years reporting and editing for UPI and other news organizations. She's worked in radio news and as a talk show host, for stations from her hometown of Kalamazoo Michicgan and her second home, Chicago. Marci now lives in Arizona, somewhere near the Grand Canyon, where she helps run an animal shelter, a political organization, and a hospice-supporting thrift store. Clearly, she likes to run things.

Extension Cord
The neighborhood co-op that is never ever going to open. How to solve most household problems—with electricity! Marci is awash in cowboys and tobacco. Ill-considered green space.
-
Stuck in Your Head
The dog is stuck. A tiktok video is stuck. Everything is STUCK. And you may join a cult more easily than you thought.
-
Please Take This Pet
What happens when the natural disaster is INSIDE your house... Pet rescue: When to give up.
-
Urgent Care
What’s more important than a near-medical emergency? How about getting “Have You Ever Seen a Monkey” to stop playing in your hearing device. More things you never wanted to know about your neighbors, and more names you probably shouldn’t foist on your kid(s).
-
Controlled Burn
When your car gives advice. Dog food IS groceries. Turi’s “words to live by” are still true—alas. Things to do when your neighborhood is (deliberately) on fire.
-
When Should You Change Your Name
Dog mayhem and rescue failures. The pop music group of your youth—as they are now. Safety vests—real, or security theater? Why you don’t believe that something is a bargain (hint: NOT because you’re stupid).
