The weekend is here, and here is all the biggest news from the past 24 hours: The U.S. military is shutting down a $500,000 program designed to train Syrians to fight ISIS, Ferrari filed for an IPO with stocks valued at $45-55, California was struck by a heat wave, southern California school filming is resuming after being shut down because of allegations of adult content and twitter is laying off employees and cutting costs under a new CEO.
