Tek Talk 01/11/2021 features a representative of Envision AI to discuss their recently launched Envision Glasses, AI-powered

Tek Talk welcomes a representative from Envision AI . Envision, an award-winning assistive technology company, has announced the official launch of Envision Glasses, which are AI-powered smart glasses for blind and visually impaired people. Envisions software uses artificial intelligence (AI) to extract information from images and then speaks the images out loud so the user has a greater understanding of the environment around them. Blind and low-vision users can see to read documents at home or work, view labels while shopping, easily recognize their friends, find personal belongings at home, use public transport, video call anyone in real time, and more.   Envision is developed for and together with the visually impaired community. The app is simple, gets things done and brings the best assistive experience to blind and low vision users. Simply use your phone camera to scan any piece of text, your surroundings, objects, people or products and everything will be read out to you thanks to Envision’s smart artificial intelligence (AI) and Optical Character Recognition (OCR). Now, they have taken things one big step further and put everything into glasses.   Website: https://www.letsenvision.com/envision-glasses Contact information: Karthik Mahadevan, Co-founder / Chief Designer and Karthik Kannan, Co-founder / Chief Engineer.
