Big Scary Show - Episode 321 - Midsummer Scream and Makeup Artists

Big Scary Show

Episode 321

It’s no secret that Midsummer Scream is the largest Halloween convention in the US. This year, over 50,000 fans descended on Long Beach California to partake in all things macabre, dark, and spooky. The Big Scary Show sent Badger to the west coast to cover this huge event and he brings back a LOT of great content. If you weren’t able to attend Midsummer Scream 2024, you’ll feel like you were there with all the interviews we’re bringing you on Episode 321 of the Big Scary Show.

Storm is ranting about the Olympics in a Haunt Minute. Meathook Jim discusses War Crimes in Asia in Between the Corpses. Badger reads the latest in Deadline News, and The Old Crone talks about casting the right actor for the right part.. We have a brand-new Gruesome Giveaway for August. And finally, we’re spinning some spooky tunes to get you in the haunting mood.

The Roundtable of Terror discusses the unsung heroes of the haunted attraction industry, makeup artists. Without them, haunts would definitely be less scary and interesting. We invite several makeup artists to have a seat and discuss the finer points of turning people into hideous monsters. If you are, or ever wanted to work as a makeup artist, you need to give this roundtable a listen. All this, and so much more.

We hid the body, but you’ll become an accomplice just by listening to........the BIG SCARY SHOW. (And a special thank you to the Midsummer Scream staff for allowing us to come cover the show)
