"Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you." Luke 10:19One of the devil's favorite things is for you to believe he doesn't exist. That way, he's able to operate unhindered and unrestricted. Because if there is no devil, you're certainly not going to resist him. But God intended for us to live like Jesus did, and follow His example. From the very beginning of His ministry, Jesus did not yield to the enemy. He told us when we see the enemy trying to say or do something, we are to resist him and put a stop to it--to stand against it, rebuke it, and command it to go. Because we have been given authority!
