This led them to begin co-hosting a podcast together called SHE MD, which empowers women to become their own health advocates.     Today we are joined by my running partner and boyfriend, Joey Miuccio, as we dive into everything we did to prepare for our half marathon! In this episode, I share how I was able to prepare my body to take on a half marathon as someone who was previously diagnosed with PCOS. Through my 12-week prep plan, I was able to ease my body into long distance running without putting stress on my hormones. This was a huge win for me, since I couldn’t even run a mile without stopping in the beginning. Outside of training, there are so many beneficial components to long distance running that Joey and I share with you today. From our gear and fueling supplements to our pre-stretch and recovery plans, Joey and I discuss all of our best tips and practices with you!
