On the occasion of the White Sox matching the 1962 New York Mets — yes, an expansion team — at 120 losses, the most since 1899, Brett Ballantini and Melissa Sage-Bollenbach got together to assess our club, past, present and future.
- Reaction to the impossible happening: 120 losses. A shock, or long-anticipated?
- A rundown of the other milestones ahead: farthest out of first (56 1/2 games), worst team outright since 1899 (1916 Philadelphia A's), top five-worst MLB team outright (dating back to 1876) ... sigh
- Training the lens again on GM Chris Getz, who managed to put together a howlingly awful offense, which will become the only negative-WAR hitting or pitching group in 125 years of White Sox baseball
- Considering Getz will be given no money to spend in the offseason, looking ahead to how different things might be in 2025 (not very much!)
- How this utter abomination of a season affects our fandom
