2020 was a year of major changes in the digital space, in the digital e-commerce environment due to the pandemic effects and lockdowns in multiple cities. As a result, a slew of new customers were introduced into the online space. This influx of customers created new challenges for merchants of all sizes during the year of 2020 and beyond. The year of 2021 is a year of consolidation, of whether or not these new customers, in the absence of the need of going online, will remain buying online and what's going to be their actual behavior in the presence of other alternatives and options.
