Hour 1 The Giants and Jets are completely dead. Aaron Rodgers needs to retire as he has ‘completely sucked the air out of the building’ according to Boomer. The Jets defense got run over and let Kyler Murray break a franchise record for completions in a row. Mike Williams leaves the Jets and has the game winning TD catch for the Steelers. Gio said both the Aaron Rodgers and Daniel Jones eras have ended in New York. Neither will be back next year. The Jets are the only team that didn’t get a boost from firing the head coach. The Jets deferred too much to Rodgers and the enormity of his personality. Who are the Giants going to get for a quarterback that’s going to move the needle? Who is going to take the Jets head coaching job? It’s not an attractive job. Of all the NFL head coaching jobs that will be available next season, the Jets one is the worst. Jerry is here for his first update of the day. He was working the Bucs game but did not get to meet Tom Brady. Jerry starts with the sounds of the Jets losing in Arizona, 31-6. Jeff Ulbrich said the team wasn’t prepared. Sauce Gardner said he could have brought some more energy. This team always says they have no energy. The Giants lost to the Panthers in Germany in OT. They are officially the worst team in the NFC. Jared Goff threw 5 interceptions and still beat theTexans. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about Drew Lock vs Tommy DeVito. Boomer said DeVito brings a Baker Mayfield type energy. He has all the intangibles that Daniel Jones doesn’t have. The Giants are on a bye which is a great time to make a change. Hour 2 It will be interesting to see what the Giants will do with the quarterback situation after this upcoming bye week. For the Jets, Joe Douglas will be gone as GM and Jeff Ulbrich will be gone as head coach. Will Aaron Rodgers come back and do we want that? Boomer said the moment his achilles snapped, his time here snapped. Everyone is looking at him for the answers, and he doesn’t have the answers. Jerry returns for an update and starts with the sounds of the Cardinals smacking the Jets around. Aaron Rodgers is looking forward to ways to beat the Colts. Davante Adams talked about the lack of energy. The Giants lost to the Panthers in Germany after an OT fumble. Brian Daboll wants the flea flicker play back. Brian Daboll needs a Baker Mayfield type QB. The Saints interim head coach got his first win but said his day started by clogging the toilet. In the final segment of the hour, the Jets have gotten much worse since they fired Rob Saleh. Hour 3 During an NFL Today segment with Saquon Barkley, he said he was jumping backwards over people now because he has his money and job security now. So was he not playing that way with the Giants? We talked about the Eagles rounding into shape and how they can be dangerous in the playoffs. We took calls from angry Jets and Giants fans of course. We talked about the potential of a Detroit Lions Super Bowl. Jerry returns for an update and has audio of Sauce Gardner talking about his terrible tackling effort in Arizona. The Giants lost in Germany to what we thought was the worst team in the league. Tyron Tracy had a very costly fumble in OT. The Lions won a game in which Jared Goff threw 5 INTs. The Chiefs beat the Broncos on a blocked FG. Jerry Jones was asked if they should install curtains at the stadium to block the sun. The Steelers beat the Commanders and will play the Ravens this week. In the final segment of the hour, we talked about the college football games on Saturday vs the NFL games on Sunday. Hour 4 What is Aaron Rodgers going to be saying during these Pat McAfee appearances now? Gio said a week from today, we will not be opening by talking about the Jets/Colts game. The Giants are on a bye so we won’t be talking about them. It will be something else that happened in the NFL. The early 1pm games next week are all crap. Boomer thought Gio would be into the ‘Joe Flacco revenge game
