Ep. 1: Introduction Isolated Incident

In the 1980s, Cuba responded to the threat of AIDS unlike any other country in the world: by isolating all who tested positive in sanatoria.
New and deadly pandemics loom in our future. Armed with 40 new and unpublished interviews of Cubans connected to the HIV epidemic, we revisit the Cuban quarantine to interrogate the role isolation and quarantine should play in confronting infectious disease worldwide.
