Poland’s economic growth accelerated rapidly after EU accession. In 2018, Polish GDP per capita was 81% higher than in 2003. The country’s economy is one of the fastest growing in the EU. In the next 15 years, it could become one of the world 20 biggest economies, being a part of the G20. Especially after the outbreak of war in Ukraine, Poland had the chance to show their strength and leadership qualities, when other countries, particularly Western European were more hesitant towards Russia and the Conflict.
