Looking For A Safe Place
For the final episode of season 1, Sarina interviews a stranger from her own life. We call in to a hotel being used a detention centre for refugees, and speak to one of the men inside.
EPISODE NOTES: There are 120 men being detained at the Kangaroo Point Central Hotel in Brisbane with no release date. Many of the men have been in detention for over 5 years, some for almost 8 years. In this episode, Sarina speaks with one of the refugees who she has connected with through music.
