Salt Lake City Cemetery’s Memorials to Forgotten and Difficult History
In this mini-podcast, I visit the Salt Lake City Cemetery to see two recently installed memorials. One is to Tom, an enslaved black pioneer, and the other is to the patients who died at Utah’s first insane asylum. All were buried in pauper’s graves and forgotten until this year.
