2.19 | Smooth talking. Mastering filler words

Unlocking Greek potential

We use filler words when we need time to think about what we will say next. Some common filler words in Greek are:

  • και
  • λοιπόν
  • βασικά
  • ας πούμε
  • ρε παιδί μου
  • κοίτα
  • ντάξει
  • δε μου λες

You don't need to learn them by heart or use them, but you need to be able to recognize them so you won't get lost in translation.
