I take a ride down memory lane with my Gymnastics coach Connie Clayton. Connie is a Published Author of the book "We Shed Our Skin Like Dynamite" which is a collection of 48 poems, divided into 3 sections of 16 poems each. It is about the development of identity in early adulthood. Connie is also a gymnastics coach and was my gymnastics coach until I quit at 14. We go down memory lane and also talk about the mental battle many athletes face during their time involved in sports and after. We also talk about my personal journey with ACL Awareness, school, injuries, and where I plan to take my next steps as I graduate this month.
