    Gratitude-a reminder

    Gratitude-a reminder

Gratitude is the most essential ingredient of spiritual Prasadam.
If only we learn to stay in eternal gratitude , if each breath starts singing a “heart felt Thankyou”, Such gratitude will soak our every cell in the infinite bliss of divine Love. We loose this opportunity when we choose to feeel gratitude in selective situations and for selective beings and selective things -nevertheless every breath taken in gratitude is a step toward divinity. From mind to heart.

    From mind to heart.

The way to heart is not a maze ..
It’s minds job to create maze ..
It manages to find maze even in the simplest of the path.
Mind thrives in chaos and noise…
    Heart rests in silence ..
The way to truth is way to heart.
A journey so simple that mind can’t comprehend it.
    Minds looks for miracles ..
    Heart is the miracle.
    Mind looks for solutions..
    Heart is the solution.
While Mind works hard to find the truth ..
    Heart is the truth.
Mind seeks motions and efforts as tools to truth ..
While all along truth is simply letting go all efforts and motion- truth rests like Lotus flower floating in the lake of stillness .

    Blessed mornings of Shantiniketan

    Blessed mornings of Shantiniketan

    Blessed Mornings of Shantiniketan:
Blessed is me every cell ,
Touched by the warmth of morning rays.
rising Sun from the behind the dark mountains,
Softens my heart and brings smile on my sleepy face!

Rising smoke in tall chimneys ,
Somewhere far in a tiny cottage ,
    Soft Fragrance of burning woods,
Give ways to flowery words and new passage.

A morning cuddle by my excited dog ,
A soft morning kiss by beloved love,
    Hidden in mighty pine trees,
Birds sing songs of joy , stirring my joyous heart.

The tap dance of naughty pigeons ,
As they March on my cottages’s tin roof,
though it is a 1500th morning with same scene ,
yet her ear stands as she is totally aloof !

Soft Touch of cold pages of the book on my lap,
Enraptured by beauty I am lost in wonder ,
As I watch Massive Himalyan mountain peaks awake,
finally waking from a night long slumber.

    warmth of a new morning,
Lazily takes away the white shawl of fresh delicate snow ,
A fresh gust of wind blows from north ,
Making the leaf of aspen tree sing In a row.

Just then , she offers me a sip of Mate’
Her gentle smile , brighter then morning Rays ,
And I feel joyous confidence , as I am ready to embark ,
For I am sure it’s going to be another great day.

    Song of suffering

    Song of suffering

    Cold, damp, dark corner,
    I hear a sound,
    melancholy in the air,
    and yet enriched by melody,
dancing in the fabric of wind,
the waves of sound reaches my year,
    pierces my soul.

Who can sing such a song,
    I wonder,
    by mere utterance of sounds,
who can make a heart bleed?
drenched in the melancholy of her sound,
    I let the tears flow.
    rolling down my cheeks ,
    I stay in that moment,
    unaware of the divine goal.

    I step closer,
    straining in darkness,
my eyes look for the source of the sound,
    it must be injured,
    i think,
    a bird fallen from sky,
    hurt, hunted,
in pain it must have cried.
    And there she lies alone,
scared, scarred, but with serene eyes,
in agony she weeps and cries,
the river of that melancholic song,
or the tears of a stunned soul,
    weeping alone in the dark,
may be she has lost all the hope. I pick her up in my palms,
her wings are wet, she shiver in cold,
I look into her sad eyes,
    but not darkness !
    but a serene shine,
as if to assure me , she gave me a gentle smile.
    Oh tiny bird ,I ask,
    you sing in pain,
    in grief you breath alone,
and yet when I peep in your eyes ,
why is not anger nor denial,
but i see only love so pure ?
and then as she rested herself in my palm,
and silence flowed through the wind,
gently she looked into my eyes ,
and her song started unfolding within..

“change is the the only constant in earthly journey,
    eternal is the essence within,
yes I have lost my beloved today,
hunted by human arrogance leaving me in enduring keen .
And yet , all losses are really gain,
for this suffering has awaken the door within,
though body may be lost and shattered,
the soul inside me never looses its shin.
though losses do look so real,
just an illusion in time and space,
There is really nothing ever to lose,
and yet we find us trapped in this mad race.

    Acceptance is the first step,
    gratitude paves the way,
    beyond grief lies the liberation,
and yet in grief we tend to stay.

    Everything is subject to change,
suffering is immutable law of creation,
ecstasy must give way to grief,
togetherness must give way to separation

When we claim - “ its me who achieves”
for suffering we already have sown the seed,
but if we forget not, that we merely are tool,
we can finally begin , to free ourself of grief.” —-
Budha gave us the teaching of 4 noble truths and 8 fold path towards liberation.
The 4 noble truth he said are:
    suffering -is inevitable.
Origin -of this suffering is craving, desire and attachment which arise.
Cessation- of this suffering can be attained by the letting go identification with body, ego and mind.
Noble eight fold path- is the path leading to renouncement of this attachment  and thus cessation of suffering.

Unless we realize the true nature of being, unless we let go false identification with body , mind and ego - the suffering will remain as the very essence of this existence.

    Lost Games

    Lost Games

Emotions- the very word invokes a range of emotion in our heart. Emotions are the internal expression of our thoughts- and every emotions is essentially result of a subtle subconscious process of judgement. Emotions are the very essence of our life. They form the very fabric of the illusion, the maya, the Leela of life- and not surprisingly in this new era of rising consciousness, an era of moving from material to subtle- an era of internal discovery- emotions are often treated as unwanted guest. Villains they might be, but has there ever been a story without a villain in it?
