I was introduced to the concept of paleo through a very strict view point where non-plaleo food items were a no-go for forever. In order to make any way of eating sustainable you cannot live with this mindset however. Something I had experienced myself and always felt guilty and bad about because the podcast hosts I listened to at that time seemed to have better control than me. Finding Diane and Liz about 1.5 years ago was a game changer for me. It is called "Balanced Bites" and it is just that - being healthy doesn't just mean 100% clean eating according to whatever protocol you follow. Being balanced means finding what works for you, taking nutrional science into consideration and going from there. But being balanced also means being human and indulging every once in a while and being honest about that. These two lovely ladies give you just that: Honesty about what finding what works for you looks like on a daily basis. They also add in their wisdom in other areas that are equally important to health, namely mental health and movement. Add their digressions about pop culture and you end up with the perfect mix of education, entertainment and honesty. Thank you for making me feel like I am spending my time commuting to work with friends whose opinion I highly value. Keep up the amazing work <3

Love, love, love Diane and Liz! Those two are super nice to listen to, especially if you are not a native speaker. Down to earth and newsworthy, this Podcast helps finding your way into a however paleo lifestyle. Great audio quality, reliably interesting topics and two real women! I love this podcast. It is incredibly informative and interesting. These ladies are sharing information that truly changes lives. Since listening, I have changed my diet to follow "paleoesque" way of eating. This podcast is full of supportive information to help you with the change and to take control if your life. I feel and look so much healthier! I look forward new episodes!
