A must listen
One of the best movie podcasts out there. Thomas and Tom are fantastic hosts. Well spoken without being pretentious or boring. They know their stuff and they have really interesting takes and views that let you change your own perspective on the discussed film.
Keep up the great work.
Maybe a female guest would be nice to hear a different perspective on men focused films like Apocalypse Now
Underwhelming
I have enjoyed quite a few of Thomas Flight‘s YouTube videos and was very disappointed with this podcast. I went through the entire five-part series on gangster films and found it lacking in substance, insight or any added value. The two hosts ramble along, with endless 'ums' and 'errs', looking for words, slowly developing fairly banal ideas while they speak, sometimes contradicting themselves within a few minutes. There is no editing to speak of, yet the two are simply not compelling enough when they present their thoughts as they form them in real time. I know that there is an audience for conversational slow-paced rambling podcasts, and people have left very positive reviews here, but I am clearly not part of that group. I like my media "somewhat tightly packed", so this is simply not for me.
