Todd Beyreuther has been with Mercer Mass Timber as its Director of Product for two years. Todd has 23+ years of experience in structural engineering practice, academic research, and mass timber product development. He is an Adjunct Research Professor at WSU Composite Materials and Engineering Center.

He has over 14 years of international strategy consulting and operational and interim management experience across verticals. He has also been a mentor and investor in various ventures across Fashion, FMCG and Food. Most recently he leveraged the brand equity for Stroodles to offer sustainable party bags and a trustmark in form of a sustainability mindset audit that helps companies and events celebrate the (small) changes they are making, shifting the focus away from a tickboxing exercise to tangible changes that educate, spread awareness and thereby leave long lasting impact. About Martin Schichtel:
Martin was born in Saarbrücken in 1969. He graduated with a doctorate degree in Chemistry from the University of Saarland with a focus on Nanoparticle Composites and Smart Coatings. Martin founded Kraftblock (formerly Nebuma) together with his co-founder Susanne in 2014. He filed his first patent in 1998 and has 20 years of experience in material development, production and sales. As the Head of the Department of Ceramics he developed the Department of Polymer Nanoparticle Composites at the Institute for New Materials, University of Saarland. Subsequently he headed the Smart Coatings division at ItN Nanovation AG. Martin always had a deep passion for innovation: he started inventing at the age of 12 with the ambition to change our world for the better.
