Is it for financial reasons or do you want your own space?  Where are home values headed? You want to make sure your home is going to appreciate in value. A home is a major investment into your future. In 2016, homes are expected to appreciate by 4%.  Where are mortgage rates headed? It looks as if they're rising, so I suggest you buy a home as soon as possible.   Ultimately, only you and your family will know when to purchase a home.
