Great content, lack of courtesy

I’m about six episodes in and so far I very much enjoy the deep insights presented by Jim and Laura. Also Lisa’s more “everyman” point of view voices my own questions and concerns, which helps to follow the discussions of the two pros. However, it would be so incredibly nice if Jim would stop interrupting Laura and Lisa. He has many interesting things to say, but his talking down to the ladies makes him appear arrogant and belittling. I hope it will get better.

Good subjects but mediocre execution

Good podcast with hosts that are both knowledgable and passionate about their subject. Big thumbs up especially for raising awareness of stalking and domestic violence.
But I find some of their coverage of cases much too long-winded, though. Especially in the multi-parters (Colonial Parkway, Meredith Kercher), some rigorous tightening, structuring and editing-out of repetitions would have gone a long way towards keeping me interested.
Sometimes the sound quality leaves a lot to be desired, too. The interview with Prof Evan was awful in that way.
Re: Jim being rude and arrogant - I have no idea what people are talking about. This may have applied to some earlier episodes (which I haven’t all listened to) but it’s certainly no longer the case as of 2018.

Jim is a jerk

I would love to give the show more stars, unfortunately I can’t because Jim is such a jerk on the show by interrupting his co-hosts, talking down to them, rudely correcting them, and questioning their remarks during recording. It makes the show very hard to listen to, and I usually just use real crime profile as a last resort.
