    Marti Gould Cummings

I had the pleasure of interviewing Marti Gould Cummings, a talented drag queen and an outspoken activist. They were among the thousands of people who protested for Black Lives Matter, and they put their body on the line for the movement and got arrested. They are also running for  New York City Council in 2021 for the 7th District.

    Chap Charlie

    Chap Charlie

This week I welcomed into the virtual studio Chap Charlie from St. Paul, Minnesota. They are a non-binary person and performer, and Minnesota’s most eclectic drag king. We talked about their experience as a non-binary drag performer, as well as how they have been translating their stage performances to an online setting.

EDIT: Since the recording of this episode, Chap has taken a step back from drag. They said: "I haven’t been performing as Chap since the protests began and I’m still assessing if there is a place for another white king in the scene."

Instead of tipping, they'd like people to donate to the organizations listed in this link: https://secure.everyaction.com/zae4prEeKESHBy0MKXTIcQ2
