    S1 E5 - Debbie Howard, Psychotherapist

    S1 E5 - Debbie Howard, Psychotherapist

Hi folks, and welcome back to a new episode of Know You Better

This week I'm talking to psychotherapist, Debbie Howard.

Just a little content warning here before we start, but in this episode we'll be discussing eating disorders in quite some depth. Just so you know before listening any further.

Debbie is a psychotherapist who specialises in treating patients with eating disorders. It's something of a personal area for Debbie, having suffered with a eating disorder for several years, starting in her teens as a gymnast and continuing into her twenties. Happily, she has come out the other side happy and healthy.

I chatted to Debbie about her experiences living with an eating disorder, the kind of treatment that she provides today as well as talking about the charity her family have set up to help other families that are going through similar situations.

Thanks, as always for listening. I hope this episode is informative.

    S1 E4 - Sara Neill, Broadcast Journalist

    S1 E4 - Sara Neill, Broadcast Journalist

    Hello again!

This week I'm talking to local broadcast journalist Sara Neill. If you've watched or listened to any local news for the past few years on the BBC, you've likely seen and/or heard Sara at some point. Throughout her impressively detailed career thus far she has worked for pretty much every major publication and media outlet you can think of in Northern Ireland, spanning print, radio, television, online. I caught up with Sara to ask her some questions about her life in the news.

As ever if you enjoy the show please do give us a 5 star review on iTunes, and rate and subscribe wherever you get your podcasts.

    Cheers

    Hi folks

This week I'm talking to Luke Carlisle, the one man show behind wedding videography business, One Noise Media, whose videos I can honestly say would be worth me getting married again for. I met Luke and we talked about his process, his passion for videography as well as his travel vlogging side project, the 100 guy.

    Enjoy!

    S1 E2 - Ryan Hollinger, YouTuber

    S1 E2 - Ryan Hollinger, YouTuber

This week I'm talking to YouTuber, Ryan Hollinger whose channel deals primarily with analysing your favourite horror movies, as well as some lesser known gems, for the deeper meaning contained behind the most iconic characters and images as well as hopefully finding something personal to identify with. Ryan has amassed quite a following during his YouTube career with nearly five hundred thousand subscribers and literally millions upon millions of views. I sat down with him and we discussed a whole range of topics; like how making and publishing a video can be a method of coping with anxiety, his inspirations and aspirations for the channel as well as what exactly *is* the key to YouTube success. [SPOILER: no-one knows. It might be magic].

If you want to check out Ryan's work (and you should) here are some links to a few of my personal favourites.
