In this second episode, I speak to Tricia Trotman-Maraj (Artist and founder of CaribArt) a project which aims to publicise art works by Caribbean artists to a wider audience.
We discussed the projects inception and aim, using art as a tool to combat stigma, her career as a Geography teacher, the struggles of finding a gallery to host her work, Caribbean history and folklore, the one gallery that accepted her work (Elizabeth James Gallery), what the future holds and many more.
