Eskasoni rapper, Gearl, talks about his new music. He released a new album in March called Stone Tape Theory and another album in May called Gearl Ji'j. 

Charlene Graham  wrote a children's book inspired by time spent along the shore in Schooner Pond with her oldest grandchild. The book details the experience of the five senses as they explore beside the ocean together.

Gordon MacDonald is councillor for district 1 which serves Sydney Mines, the Tobin Rd area of North Sydney, Florence, Little Pond, and Alder Point.
