With so many people making decision about public education in America these days, there’s one group that is often overlooked, the students. I am an educator with 15 years of experience in Texas public education, 7 in the classroom and 8 as an administrator. I will be interviewing students from various backgrounds and grade levels to get their take on education, what public education is getting right and wrong, what works and doesn’t work for them in regards to their learning, and how their everyday life effects their education. We may have a few surprise guests from time to time as well.

This kid could have easily been another statistic. With his rough background, difficult home life, and all of the strife he went through, he could have easily given up and dropped out or worse. He didn't. With some great guidance from key educators, administrators and counselors, he is now a walking success story with more success to come! Listen along as Damion tells us his story.
