This conversation inspired us to use the hand as a mirror for how we look at ourselves and cultivate a relationship with the body.  Then we extrapolate the notion and apply to the social landscape where we ask, “What would the world look like if we all learned to cultivate good, harmonious energy in ourselves”?

Talking Qi, Polarization, Division, and the Social Landscape

Talking Qi, Polarization, Division, and the Social Landscape

This was very enlightening. John Ford and I were able to talk about the Dao De Jing and bring forth some of its principles. In the context of social polarization John was able to note the continued opportunity for us to see Wuji in the face of division.
It was great to bring this idea to the listenership and I hope to present more episodes like this in the future. I will share some great links to find more of John's work. I highly recommend the empathy set!!

    Talking Qi. Regeneration Meditation.

    Talking Qi. Regeneration Meditation.

We would like to share with you this episode of Talking Qi, in which we provide a guided facilitation of this restorative practice. You may refer to the previous post which will serve as a guided handout.
As the practice unfolds and as we gain more experience, we also improve the ability to guide you and others to the feeling. It is the feeling which is the communication network between the mind and the body. And for us, we are experiencing a deep feeling of calmness, centeredness, relaxation, and ease. We like to say that if there is ease, there is no dis-ease.
With that we will continue to provide learning resources which help us to help you in communicating and articulating the feeling, while helping you to find that place.
Finally, we believe that because this technique is very Lower-Dantian oriented, it is the space of Wuji (Taiji Term) or Embryonic State (Qigong term) that we are aiming to achieve.
Stay tuned. We will be back with more soon. May your Qi continue to flow smoothly.
