I loved your podcast but I gave one star
Dear Farzan
I am a huge fan of Ravaq and I introduced it to all my friends. It truly is an amazing job and I’d like to thank you for the passion and effort that you put in creating it.
As a fan of your podcasts obviously I got very excited to see that there are new episodes in Raq. Immediately I started listening from the first episode but something stopped me on the second episode and I genuinely couldn’t listen anymore.
Probably you know what I mean, hearing the voice of Mohsen Namjoo an “artist” whose name was coming up again and again in #me_too movement of Iran.
Now you might say that you listen to his songs because you consider them separate from his lifestyle or behavior.
In Iran in the Iranian society, Mohsen Namjoo received his position in art because of those songs. He was able to behave like that because he earned his fame through those songs.
It truly disappointed me to hear the voice of a misogynistic man like him in my favorite podcast while our whole country is watching brave women and men fighting for their rights (including women rights) in #Woman_life_freedom revolution.
Mohsen Namjoo is the symbol of men who benefited from women suppression in the past 40 years and considered it the norm.
Respectfully I unfollow Ravah.
