As the “Servant Song” so beautifully states, “Make me a servant, Just like Your Son. For He was a servant, Please make me one. Make me a servant, Do what You must do. Jesus tells His disciples that they can have joy and real peace because of Him. He says this when He’s telling them He will be taken and killed. Where is the peace if He won’t be around anymore? The resurrection and Jesus victory is our peace.

What do you think it means to dig deep as a Christian? It might not sound glamorous, but Jesus gives two things He wants people to do: hear Him and do what He says.
