Impact of fiction - Jennifer Lynn Barnes

Really interesting conversation.

One area where the impact of fiction has been measured directly is in terms of representation. The Scully Effect is well documented in terms of showing the link between Dayna Scully on screen and girls entering STEM. Geena Davis’ institute has done a lot of research around this.
