The Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program has received significant media attention since its 10-year anniversary passed in 2017, and a majority of borrowers who applied were denied. Those who navigate this program correctly, which is easier today than years ago, are starting to get loan forgiveness in increasing numbers. Today, there are over 1.2 million borrowers, representing over $123 billion in student debt, enrolled in the program and confirmed by the Dept. of Education as eligible.
