    Where’s the Bacon is a couple’s diet and nutrition podcast.

    Cheyenne and Justin explore the keto diet, potential benefits, drawbacks, and meal ideas. Keto can be difficult for individuals but especially for couples with extremely different reasons for trying the diet.

    We all know it's easier for men to lose weight than women, however Justin is investing in keto for the nutritional benefits. He is worried about high blood pressure, high cholesterol, and heart attacks. Justin is interested in exploring different diets and trends to see which lifestyle fits him best. Physical fitness aside, Justin is hoping keto provides mental health wellness. Studies have shown that some participants utilizing the keto diet experience less brain fog, less anxiety, and feel energized.

    Cheyenne is doing keto for weight loss (the pandemic weight gain). Keto is a simple way to lose weight for most people that can eat a restrictive diet. This is her chance to break her sugar addiction and curb overeating, while exploring new cuisine recipes. Going keto will lead to weight loss in a number of ways! 1) Eating fiber, protein and fats will satiate hunger longer than carbs and sugar. 2) The lack of carbs will cause stored fat to be used for energy. 3) People generally eat less after eliminates bread and sugar as options are limited (and expensive).
