    Radio engineer and producer Ann Charles features on this week's episode of the PSNEurope Women in Audio podcast.

    Charles has had an amazingly eclectic career, from teaching radio journalism in New Zealand to working on broadcast community projects in South Sudan. She describes herself as being the "translator between the engineery tech people and the people who are actually using the technology".

    PSNEurope editor Dan Gumble and staff writer Tara Lepore also spoke to her about getting more girls into STEM subjects from an early age and some of the issues around being a freelancer in today’s industry.
