Episode 6. Leadslinger's Lager. Oklahoma Wintertime Fishing and Hunting Ideas. Is a Lake House a Good Idea When You're Under 40?

Episode 6. Leadslinger's Lager. Oklahoma Wintertime Fishing and Hunting Ideas. Is a Lake House a Good Idea When You're Under 40?

This is a special episode. Bryce is fresh off reading Matt Best's book "Thank You For My Service" and we have both been wanting to try one of Leadslinger's new beers because we like their whiskey and well.... It's just plain American to do so. We went longer than usual on this one because the beer deserved it. We also talk about what wintertime in Oklahoma offers the sportsman. There are crappie to catch and heated indoor docks to catch them out of, theres catfish to go get, there is that late season deer hunt for the avid whitetail chasers, and there are some pheasant and quail to kill if you have a few hundred bucks to spare. Lastly we discuss lake property. Seemed fitting since this episode was recorded at one. At what age should you decide to live at the lake full time and is it the lifestyle for you?

Episode 5. Black Mesa Brewing Co. Belgian Style Golden Ale. Stop Killing Small Bucks if You Want a Chance at a Big One! Look for the piece of Land you Want & Quit Playing Land Developer

In this episode we review the brew from Black Mesa Brewing Company. Its a Belgian Style Ale. We address the problem with Oklahoma allowing us to kill 2 bucks and having a rifle season during the peak of rut. We wrap up with the insanity that is trying to find a tract of land that can be divided so you can be in a small parcel of land for cheap. Those days are basically done cowboy/cowgirl and if you see land you like you better just buy it!
