If you judge people, you have no time to love them.   Mother Terresa

Luke 15:1-3 “Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, ‘This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” So He spoke this parable to them, saying:’”

Luke 15:4-7 Lost Sheep “… and go after the one which is lost until he finds it?  And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.”   Leave the 99 for 1

Prodigal:—Waster

This chapter is the Gospel within the Gospel.

We can trust what these stories represent because they come from the only one who comes from the Father. JESUS!

“But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him.”  (Over and over with tender love TPT)

The Father covered him with his love. Bore his shame.

“And the son said to him, Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.’ “But the father said…”

Despises his brother and insults the compassion of his Father.    I’ve earned so can he.

Pharisees and scribes had the wrong approach to Repentance:

You must clean up your act to come to a Holy God.

Jesus had Good News.  The Father loves and accepts you.

“…But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.’”

The father wants children not slaves. The older son spent his life as a slave.

“And he said to him, ‘Son, you are always with me, and all that
