Maxx has translated those experiences into the real estate industry becoming a problem solver for his clients and bringing fresh innovative ideas to the table. Maxx was born and raised in Westport, Connecticut. Surrounded by real estate his entire life through his father’s company, SCA Crowley Real Estate Services, Maxx felt passionate in following the footsteps of his family. For this episode, we discussed Julia's background and the impact it had on her real estate career, her annual trip to Hong Kong to discuss investing in NYC real estate, and finally the impacts of COVID not just in terms of real estate but also how New York will bounce back.     To kick off season 2 of Maxx's Minutes I am back in my hometown of Westport, Connecticut and interviewing fellow Compass agent Susan Vanech (@susanvanechproperties). Susan is one of the founding members of Compass Connecticut and an absolute rockstar. Not only is she an incredible agent but also designer, house flipper, Mom, the list goes on. On this episode we talk about Susan's transition from living in the Big Apple to the suburbs of Connecticut, how she found her way into the world of real estate, the incredible house flipping business she has built and how to be a true real estate matchmaker. We recorded this episode during the terrible COVID pandemic so we also discussed the new trends buyers are looking for in real estate coming out of that and also the rise of the CT market with people fleeing the City.
