SoonExistent is a social organization, started by five, minority, young adults from the South Side of Chicago. The goal of SoonExistent is to provide a space to share, inform, and entertain. To have a place to express ourselves with our experiences, passions, and hobbies. We want to show people that we refuse to be another statistic and that we will soon exist in a time where we have been hidden in the darkness. The founders of SoonExistent are Giovanni Garcia, Marc Gutierrez, Sierra Harvey, Daniela Peña, and Arianna Turner.

On June 1st, SoonExistent had their very first podcast stream and took a break from their usual gaming streams. We spoke about how we, as minorities, felt about the death of George Floyd and helped inform our viewers on the importance of showing support for the Black Lives Matter movement to help end 400+ years of racial injustice within our country. In this podcast episode, we will be continuing our conversation about Black Lives Matter from our first/previous stream by discussing new information that we have researched, experienced, and viewed in the media.
