The #GeorgeFloyd protests in the United States have been carried on the backs of young Americans, some as young as 16. These protests have yielded results with decisions being made by officials in different positions from Mayors of small towns to those of big cities, legislative houses and even the NFL. Nigeria has its own share of social injustice but the nation's youth have not taken to the streets in like manner. We discuss what reasons lie behind this seeming docility.
