How to use the barbeque…
13/10/2022
Laughed so hard and recognized myself listening to your latest episode where you described how you have to learn how to use the barbeque every year. My husband is stationed abroad every 2nd year and every time we have to go over the use of the barbeque. And how to fill oil on the car… Once, before one of his travels, I took a picture of the car’s engine compartment and drew arrows on the picture, so I could remember where to fill the oil if needed. My son (now 13) were diagnosed with ADHD in marts 2020. We didn’t see that coming though there of course had been some dificulties in his ealier years. After a while I saw the connection with his grandmother, who has lived a trobled life including everything you can find on the undiagnosed-ADHD list (she is now 74). After some further thinking I realized that being the DNA-link between my son and my mother, I probably also have ADHD. So I am now on a waiting-list (30 months!!) to get a diagnose. I am trying to learn everything I can about late diagnosed woman (I am 45 years old) and trying to forgive myself and give some love to the younger-me, who struggeled in school and who has always been akward amongst others. Thank you for your podcast. It has made a huge difference to me. I have learned more about myself listening to the 106 episodes than I have during the past 45 years. “Fun” fact: I can tell every time you have a canadian guest because of the way they pronounce “about”. Why? Because of an episode of “South Park” I saw 20+ years ago, where a canadian said “abuut”. But I can’t remember how to start the barbecue🤯 Please keep sending out your podcasts. Sincerely, Christina
Monday yet???

Finally! I found time, to write you a review thanking for giving me knowledge of how my brain works, and more of the self-acceptance I have lacked my whole life. Even though in a foreign language, your podcast has given me the vocabulary to start advocating a bit more for myself, after 36 years of masking and thinking ‘I just dident get the whole memo/manual/pieces…’. I have binge-listende to your almost 100 episodes, and find myself looking forward to every monday for your next episode. Thank you from a mom who finally found the right pusle-box for my brain! ❤️🧠❤️
Totally love this podcast and share a lot of episodes with potential adhd friends ☺️

This podcast is savning my life! And i’m only 2 episodes in It is truthfully helping me view myself diffrently. I get to understand myself more, accept myself more and love myself more. I got my diagnoses 7 months ago, i’m 27 yo. My son, 5 yo, is starting his ADHD journey himself this september, and this podcast helps me with understading-tools for not only myself, but for me learning and then teach my son. I hope that I one day get to meet you! All the love, from Denmark 🇩🇰 - Frederikke (you can just call me Fred 😂)
