The Supreme Court laid down a 6-3 ruling in Murthy v. Missouri, with the majority deciding that the plaintiffs did not have standing in the case where they alleged the Biden administration coerced social media companies into censoring "misinformation" about the COVID-19 pandemic. The High Court also made an error this week, accidentally posting a decision in the Idaho emergency abortions case stating that abortions would be allowed in cases of emergency in the state. A senior official in the Department of Homeland Security tells FOX News that nearly four hundred migrants crossed the Southern border with help from an ISIS-affiliated smuggling ring. DHS says that they believe it is more of a network taking advantage of migrants wanting to enter the U-S and not a terror operation. Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas at a briefing with reporters to tout decreasing numbers of illegal crossings said the report was 'incorrect' but didn't not offer details on why he feels that way.

The Wall Street Journal's reporter Evan Gershkovich, currently jailed in Russia, faces his espionage trial today after being imprisoned for over a year. The United States declared Gershkovich wrongfully detained, despite Russia's claims that he was working as a spy and not a journalist.
