I have always been a social athlete while I am out competing. I am that guy that will joke around on the starting line of an Obstacle Course Race, Triathlon or even and Ultramarathon, but still keep focused on the task at hand. Here I have the chance to take my social skills to the highest level! On this show we will talk about sports ranging from Obstacle Course Racing, to Ultramarathons, to everything in between and beyond! As a guy who went from 240lbs and lazy, to a healthier, leaner, endurance athlete, I want to hear from you! Do you consider yourself a weekend warrior, or the hardcore, sick individual who has the beastly desire to crush everything in your way (me, haha)?     Beyond Ultra: The Ultra Way with Michael Wardian

    Join me on the next episode, where I will be speaking with Ultrarunning Phenom, MICHAEL WARDIAN.  Mike is a an Ultramarathoner and Marathoner, having been named Ultramarathoner of the year by USATF in 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011. Mike now holds the fastest time for running a 50K on a treadmill, and once held the fastest Marathon time on a treadmill.  Mike had also previously held the fastest Marathon time while pushing a stroller at 2:42:21!!  Mike is very accomplished in the field of running, and has gained significant notice for the amount of races in which he competes in annually.  Mike has won a significant number of Marathons and Ultramarathons as well! I will talk to mike about his amazing career to date,  I will talk with him about running the acclaimed Tarawara Ultramarathon this year, and what the experience is like to travel all over the world to run.  We will also talk about many other things, including being a drug free runner (I too have taken this pledge)!!! FRED is an accomplished Marathoner, having taken numerous wins over the last few years.  FRED has even run in the 2012 USA Olympic Team marathon trials.  In addition to being an awesome marathoner, FRED is also a Bad A** ULTRAmarathoner, having recently traveled to DUBAI to represent the US at the 50K World Championships.     Beyond Ultra: Certified Bad A** with Christopher Reese

    Beyond Ultra: Are you "Strong" Enough? With Personal Trainer Wes Okerson

    On this episode of Beyond Ultra, I will have the pleasure of talking with a Twenty Year fitness veteran, personal trainer to the likes of Tom Cruise, Gerard Butler, Katie Holmes, Sasha Baron Cohen, Isla Fisher, Ed Weeks, and Casey Wilson.  Yes, the one and only, WESLEY OKERSON.  You may have recently seen Wes on the new reality TV Show "Strong", which aired on NBC in April and May of 2016.  Wes faced many challenges on the show, and never faltered.  He was continually positive, while helping out his partner Jasmine, as she attempted to reach amazing weight loss and strength training goals while on the show.  Wes is also known for designing workouts to meet short time frames, but showing quick results.  He also currently trains clients and group classes in the L.I.T. method at the "LIT Method Studio" in West Hollywood, CA.  In addition to all of these things, Wes also builds on-site gyms in many different locations, and has traveled to many locations around the world, to train his clients.
