Ethics and Empathy

Jeremy Hoog
Ethics and Empathy Podcast

This project explores how acting with conscious empathy may be our best tool for addressing inequity in the healthcare setting and beyond. We confront the disparate treatment of people of color, those battling substance abuse, mental health concerns, homelessness, poverty, and trauma, and discuss how by promoting self-awareness and honest dialogue, we may be able to improve outcomes and experience, one patient, at a time. The words in these episodes rely on a foundation of bioethics, historical research, and first-hand experience in the field.
