POSTCAST: Phillies top Cardinals, 6-1, but Suarez hurt in 2nd
The Philadelphia Phillies beat the St. Louis Cardinals 6-1 Saturday night despite the Phils losing ace pitcher Ranger Suarez in the 2nd inning. The Cardinals Alec Burleson hit a 106 mph line drive off the left hand of Suarez with two outs in the second inning. Suarez still picked up the ball and threw out Burleson then walked off the field and up the tunnel. His night was done after that. After the game X-rays on Suarez’ hand were negative but it is still unknown as to whether or not he'll make his next start.
Segment 1: THREE BIG THINGS: 1) Is Ranger OK? As the Show went on, we learned that x-rays on Ranger’s Thumb came back negative, but is status for his next start (which for now is set to be in London) is unknown. 2) How bout that Phillies Bullpen!?!?! 3) Bohm or Harper? I went Bohm! Got the scoring started in the 1st inning with a 2-run double. He opened the floodgates.
