    October-Feast 2024: Ghosts

    As you know every year Against All Oddities, by way of oldest brother Nate, throws a massive party at his 10 acre haunted estate in rural Virginia. This annual tradition brings nearly a hundred people come together to dress up in costume, eat tons of food, and party with the against all oddities team. We often use this opportunity to reconnect with each other, form treasure hunts, do some sketchy metal casting, erect large portals, and tell ghost stories around a variety of camp fires. In honor of this year’s festival we are dedicating this episode to talk about a favorite topic of ours, ghosts and apparitions. So join us as we discuss thoughts about life beyond the veil with each other and with some of the many guests gathered for October-Feast 2024!

    History's Mysteries

    Today we have a special episode that we are calling History’s mytereries, volume 1.  In today’s episode each  brother brings with them a spooky historical mystery to ponder over. Nate brings us a true murder mystery from the 1940s in a segment called who put Bella into the witch elm, Tim digs deep into the first ghost story, and Chris reflects on the Hidden Hand mystery of the theosophist and the Hermetic brotherhood of Luxor.

    Walking Among Us

    Today we will be talking about those that walk among us…what does that mean? Well, we’re not sure ourselves, but we wanted to have a fun episode and this is what we ended up with. Actually it turned out pretty great. In the episode we not only talk about the possibility of aliens eluding our detection during the mundane hours of our lives, but we also discuss movies and personal anecdotes surrounding time travelers, spirit possession, sleep walking, Vampires, para normal apathy, Indrid Cold and the men in black, spies like us, and of course those sneaky wizards and occult mages that you pass on the street every day without ever getting noticed. So put on your trainers and grab your “they live” sunglasses because you’re about to start seeing the strangers that are walking among us.

Of course we also dig into the topic at hand and discuss the Monroe institute field test for NDEs, first hand NDE accounts, book and TV recommendations, and NDE fails! Also for all of our super fans out there you might notice that this episode was recorded back in November when we punted it to the Spring. So if it seems like we’re giving you some quick updates about our lives that seemingly happened months ago it’s because we are.     Spoonbending

    I shit you not we bend spoons this episode and so will you after you listen. So Unlike Uri Geller who may or may not have bent spoons with his mind, today’s physconaught actually bends spoons using both hands. It may not impress your friends as much at a party but something is still happening. Try it. Right now, go grab some spoons and forks…..Ok are you ready, first trying bending them into a knot with your strength alone…see you can do it but  it’s hard and it hurts. Now start sending that spoon some energy, refine your focus and listen to this episode of Against All Oddities.  If you get it right the cutlery will bend with no effort at all.
