• Rocky (1976) was nominated for 10 Oscars and won “Best Picture”, “Best Director”, and “Best Film Editing” at the 1977 Academy Awards
• The name of the robot in Rocky IV (1985) is Sico
• Muhammed Ali and George Forman’s epic 1974 fight known as The Rumble in the Jungle is the subject of the documentary When We Were Kings (1996)
• To hear “Whatever Works” listen to “Episode 17: Fifty Shades of Grey”
• Ryan Coogler previously wrote and directed Fruitvale Station (2013) also starring Michael B. Jordan
• Creed opens wide in the USA on November 25, 2015
