If Books Could Kill

These guys tear down the conventional wisdom of America, as has been passed down through a litany of horrible best selling books. In listening to these episodes, I realized how much of the “wisdom” of my elders in the nineties about relationships, money, politics and the secret to success (!) came from books written by grifters or marketeers, with pseudo science, no science, or gradually exaggerated or cherry-picked science. The podcasters have done a fabulous public service in bringing the grift to light, and they are so funny. Also, thank you very much for saving me from reading Rich Dad, Poor Dad, which I continued to hold guilt for not reading since my (poor) dad gave it to me in 1998!!
