My name is Travis Cinnamon and I’ll be your host. I’m a gay man that lives in North Carolina on the cusp of the Bible Belt and came out at the age of 16. For context I’m in my 30s now. After watching "Love, Simon" I thought: "Wow! That would have been a great way to come out." But not everyone gets that story. So, I’m here to find the real stories of everyday people like you and me. Join me for an LGBTQ+ Coming Out Podcast that asks the question: at what moment did you realize you had accepted yourself?

I’m here to find the real stories of everyday people like you and me. Whether you have questions, are trying to come out, have been out for decades or you’re trying to be a better ally I hope you take a moment to listen to the journeys of these folks. We will talk about coming out to friends and family, everyday acts of coming which are straight counterparts have not experienced, and finally we’ll discuss the moment in each person’s journey they finally accepted themselves. Even when it feels like it, we are not alone and my hope for each of my siblings in our community is that you find your voice and your place of happiness.
