Access inner stillness & stability with this guided Mountain Meditation, inspired by the work of Dr Jon Kabat Zinn. When you find yourself stressed or somewhat overwhelmed and need to take some time out to re-group and calm the nerves, then try this guided meditation. It encourages us to seek inner stability and peace, even in the face of unpredictable change and chaos. It is suitable in the morning, evening, or anytime in between. You can practice this at work or at home.

You do not need any previous meditation experience to do this meditation.

Duration: 13 mins

Instructions: Find a warm comfortable place to sit. You can practice this at work or at home. Settle the body and then start this guided meditation.

It's best to close the eyes while doing this meditation, but if you feel more comfortable, you can keep your eyes open (lower your gaze, or gently focus on a burning candle, or the floor in-front of you.

Una Keeley is a professional MBSR Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Instructor. She is the founder and owner of Mindfulness Wexford, Training Adults, to De-Stress with Mindfulness Stress Reduction Skills.
